BMW E32 730i - 735i M30 ENGINE

The M30 distributor-lead order can be a bit confusing, this is because the distributor is unusual in construction, all explained below. The rotor arm rotates clockwise when viewed from the front (as does the camshaft and the crankshaft).

Firing order = 1 5 3 6 2 4

It now gets a bit more complicated. The distributor caps do not fire from top to bottom, they go like this instead:
